Description
Deutsch: Panorama-Luftbild des historischen Zentrums von Venedig, aufgenommen in Ost-West-Richtung. Die Aufnahme gelang aus einem Tragschrauber heraus und besteht aus zwei kurz hintereinander aufgenommenen Fotos. Die Gebäude im Vordergrund links neben der Spiegelung des Geschwindigkeitsmessers gehören zur Insel San Servolo, sind Teil der Venice International University. Darüber liegen die südlich vorgelagerten Inseln von Dorsoduro sowie rechts daneben die Insel San Giorgio Maggiore. In der Bildmitte ist San Marco, rechts im Vordergrund ist Castello.

English: Panoramic aerial view of the historic centre of Venice, taken in an east-west direction. The shot was taken from a gyrocopter and consists of two photos taken in quick succession. The buildings in the foreground to the left of the reflection of the speedometer belong to the island of San Servolo, are part of the Venice International University. Above them are the islands of Dorsoduro to the south and the island of San Giorgio Maggiore to the right. In the centre of the picture is San Marco, to the right in the foreground is Castello.
