Summary[edit]

Description Another dead medium, the Airphone, disconnected almost exactly a year ago. I predict it'll be another small indicator of 1990-ness, even though it wasn't until 2006 that it was shut down. Also notable in its use as the communication medium that allowed 9/11 passengers (especially in Flight 93) to communicate the situation inside the planes before they crashed.
