Image title | My neighbor upstairs is upping the game. I've heard a mouse (hopefully not mice) skampering arounf in my ceiling at night.
Yesterday, I went up in th attic and placed out a single mous trap, traditional spring and trigger, loaded up with peanut butter. But I thought I would need maybe more than one, si I picked up this electric trap at Home Depot. It is run on 4 AA batteries. You wipe some peanut butter on the inside back wall on the right. The curious, hungry, unwitting mouse enters the door on the left, and works his way around the little baffles, sniffing curiosly, until he eyeballs the mother load wad of peanut butter at the end of the hallway. In his excitement he does not notice the metal plates that are charged, until ZAPPPPPPPPPPPPP! Once the victim is fried, the light will blink indicating success. The box says that 4 AA batteries can fry 50 mice. It does not say exactly what one days when you catch one. We'll see. I need to up hte game, as the basic trap I set up there yesterday had been exploited! The peanut butter was gone, the spring and flipped, but no mouse was caught.
