Summary[edit]

Description
English: Victoria's Tower, Liverpool Docks. Situated at the dock entrance this granite tower is known as the Dockers Clock as the unique clock has 6 faces so the time can be seen from all angles. It was designed by the famous dock engineer, Jesse Hartley, as an aid to ships' captains setting the chronometers when leaving port. It also held a bell to signal high tide and fog. This is also the sea entrance to the Leeds-Liverpool canal.
