Summary[edit]

Description
English: Vintage Vehicle Rally, Lincoln Castle, Lincoln A fine collection of vehicles on a site that was once occupied by the Romans. In 1086, William the Conqueror had 166 Saxon houses demolished inside the old fort and began building Lincoln Castle here. For 900 years the castle has been used as a court and prison. Justice is still dispensed at the working Crown Court. The court building is to the right. To the left is an exhibition centre, which houses the original 1215 Lincoln Magna Carta.
