日本語: Vivian James（ヴィヴィアン・ジェームス）は、ゲーマーゲートのマスコットキャラクター。4chanの/v/（ビデオゲーム板）とインディーゲーム開発者グループ「The Fine Young Capitalists」（通称・TFYC）のコラボレーションによって考案された。初期デザインでは、ヘッドバンドに四つ葉のクローバー（4chanのロゴ）を着けていたが、4chanからゲーマーゲートが追放されたあとは、メビウスの輪（8chanのロゴ）を着けるようになった。なお、このキャラクターには特定の商標権者が存在せず、事実上のパブリックドメインとなっている。
English: Vivian James is the mascot character of Gamergate, created through a collaboration between 4chan's /v/ (video game board) and The Fine Young Capitalists, a group of indie game developers. In its initial design, it wore a four-leaf clover (4chan's logo) on its headband, but after Gamergate was banned from 4chan, it began wearing a Mobius wheel (8chan's logo). Note that there is no specific trademark owner for this character, and it is effectively in the public domain. |
