Summary[edit]

Description Monument in honour of the early dutch aviators. Made and placed in 1938 by Jo Uiterwaal with design also from W.C. van Hoorn. Placed at the Clement van Maasdijkstraat. Clement van Maasdijk was the first dutchman who died during a flightaccident. But it's unclear wether is has anything to do with the monument. Utrecht (and Zuilen) have no connection with Clement or with early aviation at all.
