Dansk: I forsommeren 1219 drog kong Valdemar Sejr til Estland på et kombineret korstog/erobringstogt. Den 15. juni blev hæren angrebet af esterne, og legenden fortæller, at flaget Dannebrog faldt ned fra himlen og fik krigslykken til at vende. til dansk fordel. Senere historikere har påpeget, at flaget var identisk med Johannitterordenens fane, som ofte var med på korstog. Litografi på papir, opklæbet på pap.

Udstillet i juli-august 1906 iflg. årsberetning 1906-07. 1 dublet.English: In the early summer of 1219 the Danish king Valdemar II went to Estonia with an army and fleet, on a combined crusade/landgrab. On June 15 the Estonians attacked and the legend tells us that a red and white flag (the present Danish flag Dannebrog) descended from the sky and led the Danes to victory. Later historians have pointed out that the flag is more or less identical to the banner of the Knights Hospitallers, often seen on crusades at the time. Colour lithograph on paper, glued on cardboard.
