WO2 Denis Buckley holds up a dress for size at the Don Chua orphanage, June 1970

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Warrant Officer (WO2) Class 2 Denis Buckley of Box Hill, Vic, holds up a dress for size for this little girl. The dress was one of the many clothes sent from Australia to WO2 Buckley at Detachment 110th Signals Squadron, for distribution to the 400 children. WO2 Buckley wrote to his mother, Mrs Irene Buckley of Kilburn, SA, telling her of the lack of clothes at the Don Chua orphanage, and she, in turn wrote to an Adelaide newspaper about it.
