Description
English: Items from WW2 showing Nazi Germany's use of forced/slave labour when constructing the Polar Eisenbahn (Polarkreiseisenbahn) and Ost Bahn for the Deutsche Reichsbahn. Soviet prisoner of war in Telogreika, fufaika quilted winter jacket, and Red Army Budenovka cap. Also yellow Deutsche Reichsbahn Kraftwagengüterstelle sign, barbed wire, foot chain, railroad tie, wooden shovel, etc.
Photo taken on May 8th, 2019 at Lofoten War Memorial Museum ("Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum") in Svolvær, Norway. The museum exhibits uniforms, smaller items, etc. from World War II and the German occupation of Norway 1940–1945.
