Description
English: Photo taken at the Lofoten War Memorial Museum (Norwegian: Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum) in Svolvær, Norway's largest exhibition of uniforms and smaller items related to the Second World War and the German occupation of Norway 1940 – 1945:

Uniforms of the Wehrmacht Luftwaffe (the air force of Nazi Germany) and misc. WWII equipment, militaria, memorabilia, etc.

  • Undress Service Dress, Walking-Out Dress, Informal Evening Full Dress (kleiner Rock) of an Generaloberst in the Wehrmacht Luftwaffe
    • Kleiner Rock ("little coat"), a double-breasted Special Coat for General Officers, variant of the Waffenrock tunic, in Luftwaffe-blue (blue-grey) gabardine, with large lapels, two pockets on the skirt, deep turned-up cuffs, etc.
      • Rank insignia (Dienstgradabzeichen) on shoulder boards (Schulterstücke) and collar tabs (Kragenspiegel) indicating Generaloberst
      • White-lined lapels and Piping (Paspel, trimming) on the covered fly and cuffs. The kleiner Rock für Generale der Luftwaffe was a dress tunic specifically made for General Officers featuring white lapel facings and white piping down the front panel and on the cuffs.
