Description
English: From the exhibition on the German occupation of Norway during World War II 1940 – 1945 at the Norwegian National Museum of Justice (Justismuseet) in Trondheim: Uniform distinctions of "Statspolitiet" 1942, National Socialist armed police force of Norway 1941 – 1945. Photo taken oin 10th March 2019.
Norsk bokmål: Foto fra utstillinga om Norge under andre verdenskrig 1940–1945 i Justismuseet i det tidligere Kriminalasylet i Trondheim. Bildet viser tyskinspirerte distinksjoner til Statspolitiets uniformsmodell fra 1942. På tavla/montasjen «Distinksjoner til politiumiform M. 1942» er det montert luesnor for offiserer, luereim for tjenestemenn, luemerker, kravespeil/kragespeil og skulderklaffer/epauletter for ulike tjenestegrader på en bakgrunn av Statspolitiets grågrønne melerte uniformsstoff (se digitaltmuseum.no). Statspolitiet, forkorta Stapo, var en nasjonalsosialistisk politistyrke og statlig etat som ble oppretta 1. juni 1941 og varte til krigens slutt. Stapo var inspirert av Gestapo og samarbeida med det tyske Sicherheitspolizei. Som Quislings Nasjonal Samling (NS) brukte Statspolitiet solkors og ørn i emblemet.
