| Description |
English: WWI pillbox - a view inside. Looking inside a WW1 pillbox which was constructed in 1914/18; it is located in a bend on Bacton Road, North Walsham. Sadly, the interior is littered with rubbish. See > 1020890 for a wider view of its location. This pillbox is documented in the Defence of Britain database - marked as removed whereas it clearly is still in situ - and has the identification number S0005685. Another pillbox is located diagonally across the road > 1020983. |
