Summary[edit]

Description
English: Ground (first) floor plan, Wabash Pittsburgh Terminal, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Opened 1904; passenger service ended in 1931; the building was entirely closed in 1946; demolished 1953-1954. Used by the Wabash Pittsburgh Terminal Railway, it stood on a block bounded by Ferry Street (now Stanwix Street), Liberty Street, and Fourth Avenue, on land now occupied by the Gateway Center complex. The second floor ("track floor") connected to an elevated arched shed which covered multiple tracks.
