Description
English: Birnau Pilgrimage Church with Lake Constance. Just northwest of Unteruhldingen the church is nestled among vineyards overlooking the lake. The church was built by the master architect Peter Thumb between 1746 and 1749.
Deutsch: Blick auf die Wallfahrtskirche Birnau am Bodensee. Die Maria geweihte Barockkirche wurde von 1746 bis 1749 für die Reichsabtei Salem errichtet. Die Kirche erhielt eine reiche barocke Ausstattung mit Fresken sowie Stuckaturen, Altären und Skulpturen.
