„laut Auskunft des Staatsarchivs Stuttgart sind mit der Eingemeindung der Ortsteile sowohl die Rechtspersönlichkeit dieser Gemeinden als auch die ihres Ortswappens erloschen. Das Ortswappen hat also nur noch historische Bedeutung. Eine Genehmigung zur Verwendung der Ortswappen durch die Stadt Heilbronn ist deshalb nicht erforderlich.
