Description
Deutsch: 1781 notariell beglaubigte Abschrift eines Wappenbriefes von Maximilian I. (Regent der österreichischen Erblande seit 1493, römisch-deutscher Kaiser 1508-1519) für die Brüder Caspar und Jakob Mitterhofer. Sie waren möglicherweise die Brüder jener Barbara Mitterhofer, welche mit Florian Waldauf Ritter von Waldenstein verheiratet war, einem engen Berater Kaiser Maximilians I. Original ausgestellt in Innsbruck, 6. Oktober 1499. Pergamenturkunde (Format 60 x 41 cm) mit kalligraphierter Kopfzeile, farbiger Wappendarstellung und einem schwarzen Wachssiegel in gedrechselter Hartholzkapsel (Durchmesser 4,5 cm), das an einem blauen Seidenband hängt. Das nicht originale Siegel zeigt eine thronende Madonna mit Kind, Szepter, Krone und Reichsapfel, die von einem Flammenkranz umgeben sind. Im darunter dargestellten viergeteilten Wappen zwei Brezeln, die Umschrift verweist auf die Zunft des Bäckerhandwerks. Die Urkunde trägt das aufgeklebte Notarszeichen (Christus mit dem Osterlamm, Devisen Ut testimonium perhiberet und "F. I. G. N. P.") sowie das aufgedrückte Siegel (mit Gans als Wappen) des Innsbrucker Notars Franz Josef Gänsler.
