| Description |
English: Watercourse channels under road This part of an intricate network of watercourses or aqueducts that link reservoirs at Colt Crag, Hallington and Whittle Dene, all of which were built in the latter part of the 19th century. This aqueduct takes water to Whittle Dene Reservoirs. Most of the these aqueducts are open water courses but in some areas tunnels are used to allow farming to continue. |
