English: Wellingborough railway station, Northamptonshire, 2013 Opened in 1857 by the Midland Railway on the line from Bedford to Leicester. View north towards Finedon and Leicester. The two former platforms to the right were hidden by a fence at the time this image was taken. They were reopened for public use 8 years after this image was taken, the footbridge extended and all four lines electrified.
