| Description |
English: West Cragdale, Long Gill This wild high fell area lies to the West(RHS)of Cragdale Water. Despite its remoteness it was the site of early settlement with Mesolithic and Stone Age remains found. Since the War the part nearer to Raydale has been used for forestry. Cragdale is also known to twitchers for the many buzzards seen there. |
