Summary[edit]

Description
English: Wheat field north of Ryme Intrinseca. This area is mainly arable with a few dairy cows. The tree line in the distance is the remains of an old unmetalled lane shown as 'Broad Lane' in the 1st series OS maps of mid 19th century. This used to run from Clifton Maybank to the Ryme Road near Elsford Bridge, but the western part is no longer visible. The hedge line on the right is also an old lane - Coles Lane. This ran from Yetminster to join Broad Lane. The Eastern end still exists as a short residential road in Yetminster.
