Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is a special type of service that is done by people who perform chath pooja in Bihar. Everyone knows about chath pooja thanks to internet these days but no one talks about little things that has so much faith and belief of people. This pictures represents waiting before offering argh to sun god both in morning or evening. Here we see people who are doing chath pooja arranges the "sup" with thekua, fruits, ganna etc and then get that arrange near the chath ghath where they will give argh. This ghat usually used to be near river, lakes , ponds but these days people create small ponds on their terrace, in house or even use water tubs to mimic a pond where they fill in water and add gangajal to get river ganga blessings. Before offering the argh it is said that you should wait and give time selflessly doing meditation, singing bhajans etc. This is called ghat agorana . It also represents when you do this festival it is not only about the 4 day ritual , it reaches us many things-- 1) when you do anything enjoy the process of that 2) Rather than thinking to start and finish , slow down to experience the wait time and then perform your work.
