Item caption/descriptive text, back: 6. Als der Wolf erwachte, ging er zum Brunnen, um zu trinken. Er bückte sich zum Wasser hinab, da zogen ihn die schweren Steine in seinem Bauch in die Tiefe. Jämmerlich mußte er ertrinken. Die Alte mit ihren sieben Geißlein aber tanzte voll Freude um den Brunnen und rief: "Der Wolf ist tot!" = When the wolf woke up, he went to the well to drink. As he bent down to the water, the heavy stones in his belly caused him to lose his balance. He drowned miserably. But the old goat with her seven little kids danced joyfully around the well and cried: "The wolf is dead!"
