| Description |
English: Wolverhampton Station This was the site of the former London & North Western Railway High Level station, opened in 1852. The station was completely rebuilt in 1965 as part of the West Coast Main Line electrification scheme. The platform from which the photograph was taken was constructed in 2004, on the site of disused sidings. There are proposals to further develop this very busy station. |
