Description
Deutsch: Wuppertal, Nordbahntrasse, Bahnhof Varresbeck, Ostende des Mittelbahnsteigs, Schotterbett des ehemaligen Gleises 1 nach Westen.
Man erkennt im Hintergrund ein Geländer, das den Verlauf der unterquerenden Düsseldorfer Straße markiert, und leicht versetzt rechts davon hell den Hauptabschnitt des Bahnsteigs, wo die sog. Schienenbusse, die die letzten beiden Betriebsjahrzehnte als Regelzug verkehrten, vor dem unscheinbaren Empfangsgebäude hielten; das das ursprüngliche, weiter westlich gelegene, schiefergedeckt und als einziges Gebäude des Bahnhofs Varresbeck noch erhalten, abgelöst hatte, als man den Bahnsteig für den bescheidenen Personenverkehr genau auf die Brücke über die Düsseldorfer Straße verlegt hatte.
