Description
Deutsch: Wuppertal, Nordbahntrasse, Bahnhof Varresbeck, östliches Ende des Mittelbahnsteigs im Gegenlicht.
Am westlichen Ende befand sich das Hauptstellwerk Vf für den Fahrdienstleiter, davor ein unscheinbares Empfangsgebäude direkt auf dem Bahnsteig, das das ursprüngliche, weiter westlich gelegene, schiefergedeckt und als einziges Gebäude des Bahnhofs Varresbeck noch erhalten, abgelöst hatte, als man den Bahnsteig für den bescheidenen Personenverkehr genau auf die Brücke über die Düsseldorfer Straße verlegt hatte. Deren Verlauf erkennt man an den beiden Geländern jeweils etwa in der Mitte der beiden Bildhälften.
