| Description |
English: Yardley Hastings (East) Flood Storage Reservoir A local walker told me this reservoir had been there a long time, but wasn't sufficient, so another was built further down by farm buildings. This and a nearby reservoir seemed to have a surprising amount of instrumentation. It appears that they are in a catchment that has been studied extensively. It is part of the Grendon Brook Improvement Scheme shown on a map of River Nene and tributaries from Kettering council http://www.kettering.gov.uk/downloads/Pages_from_K_&_W_Stage_2_Final_Report_p64.pdf (warning - 5Mb pdf file).
