Josh, This is the Zachariah Lea House aka Huron. It is located some 15 miles south east of Liberty on the Liberty-Magnolia highway. It is not the Wilford Zachariah Lea House that is a mile or so north of Liberty on Highway 569N. The Zachariah Lea house is not listed on the National Register of Historic Places due to extensive renovations that were done in the 70's or 80's. Could you please remove this incorrect photo? We will get a photo of the Wilford Zachariah Lea house this weekend and post it. Thanks so much for your attention to this matter and your interest in Amite County! If you are in Liberty, the Society meets the second Sat. of each month at the Library Meeting room! If you aren't local please join us on Facebook! Regards! Dawn Taylor President of Amite County Historical and Genealogical Society
