The foundation stone for the Zikmund and Hanzelka exposition

| Description |
Čeština: V areálu plzeňské Zoo (Plzeň 1; Severní Předměstí) je od roku 2014 instalována socha – základní kámen – související s expozicí Hanzelky a Zikmunda. Socha byla slavnostně odhalena u příležitosti 95. narozenin plzeňského rodáka, cestovatele, spisovatele a fotografa Miroslava Zikmunda. Socha symbolizující svět je dílem studentů Střední umělecké školy Zámeček (SSUPŠ Zámeček) v Plzni pod odborným vedením Jaroslava Šindeláře (* 1950). Vstupní základní kámen expozice slavnostně poklepal sám Miroslav Zikmund.
English: In the area of the Pilsen Zoo (Plzeň 1; Severní Předměstí) since 2014 a statue - the cornerstone - related to the exhibition of Hanzelka and Zikmund has been installed. The statue was unveiled on the occasion of the 95th birthday of Pilsen native, traveller, writer and photographer Miroslav Zikmund. The sculpture symbolizing the world is the work of students of the Zámeček Secondary School of Art (SSUPŠ Zámeček) in Pilsen under the supervision of Jaroslav Šindelář (* 1950). The entrance cornerstone of the exposition was ceremoniously tapped by Miroslav Zikmund himself. |
