Description
English: View of the demolition of the Zandstraatbuurt, for the benefit of the city hall to be built in that place. In the foreground the starting point of the pakschuitdienst steam-drag, nightshift, departure in the evening at 7 PM from Amsterdam. In the background the Sint Laurenskerk tower. Year: 1912.
Nederlands: Gezicht op de afbraak van de Zandstraatbuurt, ten behoeve van het op die plaats te bouwen stadhuis. Op de voorgrond het vertrekpunt van de pakschuitdienst stoom-sleep, nachtdienst, vertrek 's avonds 7 uur naar Amsterdam. Jaar: 1912.
