Description
Deutsch: Dortmund, Tierpark, Skulptur «Die Zoogucker» am Eingang.
Die Köpfe der Skulptur sind Ergebnis eines Wettbewerbs an Dortmunder Schulen. Die Köpfe von Giraffe, Steinbock und Schlange wurden aus über 100 Schülerarbeiten ausgewählt und in Bronze gegossen. Die Skulptur bildet den Anfang eines Skulpturenweges mit 9 Stationen, der sich von hier quer durch den Rombergpark zieht. Die Figuren wurden von Bernd Moenikes, einem Dortmunder Bildhauer, geschaffen und ermöglichen dem Betrachter durch Kletterseile, Klanginstrumente und Begehbarkeit sinnliche Erfahrungen. Die Skulpturen sind zum großen Teil aus Holz, teilweise auch versetzt mit Stein und Metall.
