There may be some bias in the naming of this photo: "12SSHJPOWAbused.jpg" It implies that the injured prisoner was injured through abuse by his captors. Likewise, the caption "atrocities were commonplace" suggests that the picture depicts the result of an allied attrocity, when this is completely unsubstantiated. by 142.166.200.243

I agree, I think it also bring down what is otherwise a good basic article. by en:User:PhilipPage

A boy from the Hitler Jugend as Fighter in Caen? Absurd! Marcus Cyron 01:24, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Again - this isn't possible in 1944. A Soldier is a Soldier. He could be in the Hitler-Jugend, but this isn't important here. It's so important, like on the other Side Soldiers were Pathfinders. 1944 in Caen it's also not possible, that he was a "Volkssturm"-Soldier (Volkssturm was build in Septmber). He must be a normal, regular Soldier. Maybe he was young - but not as Member of the "Hitler-Jugend" there. Marcus Cyron 11:28, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
