Geographic inaccuracies[edit]

Just wanted to note that this map seems to be a mixture of a couple of different conflicting geographies. The military action in White Plains was plopped up near the Croton River, with Tarrytown and Dobbs Ferry incorrectly placed with it, and roads vaguely indicated to join them up. In reality White Plains is maybe 8 miles closer to Manhattan, Southwest of the jutting-out corner of the border with Connecticut. Tarrytown is actually just South of Philipsburg (current-day Sleepy Hollow) and Dobbs Ferry is halfway down to Yonkers from there. Most of the rest of the landmarks on the map are scaled relatively correctly, but the fact that these three points are compressed so dramatically Northward would make me very hesitant to trust the placement of the military information being shown on the map.
