This image has been mis-identified. It is by Ambrose McEvoy, but it portrays Irène de Pourtales, a Swiss aristocrat. The portrait is in the Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford, under the title Mademoiselle de Pourtales. This Art UK page confirms this identification: https://artuk.org/discover/artworks/mademoiselle-de-pourtales-22993 and I have also discussed this with Philip Mould of the Philip Mould art gallery in Pall Mall London who presented an exhibition of some of McEvoy's portraits, including this portrait and portraits of Lois Sturt; he and one of his colleagues are probably the UK experts on the work of McEvoy.
