The map shown by you do not depict the original present Indian International Boundaries. Jammu and Kashmir a part taken by Pakistan and a part with China are shown as their respective territories. Please correct it.
- I think you missed the 600 B.C. in the title of the map. The modern boundaries are only there to help users orient themselves, adding information about the current India-Pakistan dispute would detract from the point of the map. Kmusser (talk) 18:34, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
In the map,the lines showing modern boundaries between india and pakistan are grossly inaccurate and shows kashmir within Pakistan borders. Also, slightly inaccurate is the western Bhutan/china/India-sikkim border. The point where three countries meet is few miles too faar to the south than the latest border descriptions by all the countries in the area.
- The modern borders are the same as on File:India map en.svg which is pretty thoroughly sourced, the only exception is the Siachen glacier situation, which I didn't consider especially relevant to the Mahajanapadas but if you really wanted me to I could change that.
