Alternative 1: Prince Bernadotte's coronet as per 3 Swedish books
Alternative 2: Prince Bernadotte's coronet as per his own stationery

The version with the coronet for a Belgian noble prince was correct. Sources with blazons and pictures:

  • Ointroducerad adels kalender (2015), p. 21
  • Kungliga Serafimerorden : 1748-1998 by Per Nordenvall (1998), p. 440
  • Dynastien Bernadotte och det svenska riksvapnet by Anders Berghman (1944), pp. 71-72 and 117-118

This coronet appears to have used as a decorative element. Are there any sources that confirms that it was used in Carl Bernadotte's coat of arms? /Elzo 90 (talk) 20:03, 19 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's from his stationery, used over his name. It shows what type of coronet he used for his title. (I fixed your link that did not work). --SergeWoodzing (talk) 14:27, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
PS: I cannot upload his stationery here, as far as I know, because it may be under copyright, but that crown is the exact same. Would you like me to e-mail you a photo of Carl Bernadotte's stationery? --SergeWoodzing (talk) 15:21, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The coronet currently used is more close to the coronet of a belgian marquis. The coronet is wrong and should be altered or the file should be deleted. /B****n (talk) 12:24, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That will be taken care of by Sunday or Monday. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 14:01, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Or, if you meant this one it is the correct model as per Carl Berndotte's own stationery. Now, however, Elzo 90 has provided us with interesting new information. I will check those books no later than Monday. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 15:24, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
