Is there any evidence this was actually used?[edit]

This flag just seems questionable on a fair few fronts, and despite digging I can find no corroboration that any flag whatsoever was used by the Partido Laborista Mexicano (PLM).

Most obvious on the questionable characteristics of this flag are it's use of the 1950s SocIntern symbol in the top left, which, to my knowledge, was designed well after the PLM was dissolved. The symbol is a very clear derivative of the same symbol the Socialist International uses to this day, as can be seen here.

Additionally, this particular file is an vectorized version of this file, which, in it's first version, has the letters arranged in the wrong order- LPM, instead of PLM. This rather strongly implies, to me, that this flag is an invention and not representative of actual historical research or evidence.

I've not been involved with the Wiki platform for long enough to know what, if any, rules or expectations would be violated here, but the historicity of this flag seems very suspect. Calphf (talk) 20:13, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, according to the w:Fist and rose article (which I mainly wrote), the emblem was drawn up in 1977, and adapted from one first created in 1969. Keriluamox (talk) 13:37, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
