The title of the file is Battle-sexes-jocular-symbols, suggesting that it is about gender inequality. However, it is categorized as femdom, meaning that this represents a consensual and individual arrangement or scenario, not a societywide trend. I don't think it's really either in a deadpan literal sense. It's semi-jocular symbols of hypothetical non-seriously-postulated utopias/dystopias and/or personal relationship statuses, which some in BDSM or quasi-BDSM situations may possibly find relevant to their own lifestyles...
