The original description that went with this graph was: "Graph of births and deaths of notable painters from the school of Dutch painting. The graph shows how the number of notable Dutch painters today are mostly from the period known as the Dutch Golden Age."

The graph was based on the list of painters enumerated in the article Hollandse School. These artist are enumerated in that list because they lived in the period of the Dutch School of painting. This graph thus in fact shows that the painters who are considered among the Dutch School of painting lived during the period of the Dutch School of painting. We already knew that before the graph was created.

This graph is not from a book, a scientific paper or any other expert source. It was based on "original research", which was moreover badly conducted. This graph therefore should not be used in any Wikipedia article. - Wikiklaas (talk) 17:08, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
