Font size[edit]

The diagram is almost unreadable. Little bigger font would help a lot.--Kozuch (talk) 16:28, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for feedback. It's possible to enlarge the font a bit. I'll add it to the list of things to be done with the image in the next update. All the integrated links in the image need to be redone in an update, so I prefer not to do it very often. Mikael Häggström (talk) 07:54, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Kozuch, I've now increased the font size with the update in the next section. Mikael Häggström (talk) 01:09, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Puberty data on timetable chart is inaccurate[edit]

I have now updated the puberty interval as per the following comment (copied to here from my talk page). Mikael Häggström (talk) 01:09, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. You created the child development stages chart that is on a lot of pages on Wikipedia relating to child and adolescent development. However, I believe your range for pubertal development is not accurate. Even in boys, puberty is effectively complete by 16/17, yet you have it go up to nearly 19/20, which is not the case. I think you should re-edit the image to better reflect Tanner stage data. Girls typically reach tanner stage 5 at around 14, and boys reach it around age 15. Therefore, I would have it be mostly green for girls around 11-14, petering out afterwards, and the same with boys around 12-15, as that is when the bulk of their puberty takes place.
