What is wrong with the image?[edit]

It's appearing all squashed in the articles it's posted in.

The reason is it is a wide image and is intended to be used on wikipedia with the wideimage or panorama template, otherwise the image may be automatically squared, thus distorting the image. – Phoenix B 1of3 (talk) 01:11, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Typo[edit]

In the Milky Way Galaxy section, the label reads "Solar Intersteller Neighborhood"—"Interstellar" is misspelled. —tktktk 21:03, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The image should have numbers about the scale shown[edit]

At the bottom of each section of the image, we should have a note on the distance shown by each circle of the grid.

I'd also like some information on what program was used to create this image. Where did this data come from? --Mr. Billion (talk) 07:26, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Typos[edit]

In the "Local galactic group" panel, "NGC 3190" should be "NGC 3109" and "Antila Dwarf" should be "Antlia Dwarf". --Amble (talk) 00:24, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Typos[edit]

In the 3rd panel "Solar Interstellar Neighborhood", "Upsilon Andromeda" should be "Upsilon Andromedae".

In the 7th panel "Local Superclusters", "Canes-Major Void" should be "Canis Major Void", and "Columbia Void" should be "Columba Void".

Btw, I have derived a Chinese version from the non annotated blocks, and have added the link. Thanks for the great original work! - MQQ (talk) 07:13, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's callled "Fomalhaut" not "Formalhaut" --ThiloK (talk) 22:03, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion[edit]

Hi,

Great image! I was wondering if you could modify the image to include the previous cylinder in the next one, so we can have a better sense of scale. It would help, especially in the last cylinder, when there is no reference at all.

Thanks,
