Ambiguities to this diagram include (among others) labels 9 (iris) 10 (lens cortex) and 11 (lens nucleus) may appear to viewers (as they do to me) to be pointing to the straight line (I assume that line to be the path of light entering the eye) These ambiguities compromise the clarity and thus the reliability of the diagram. Since this was voted picture of the day (one of WikiMedias finest pictures) I suggest an edit to correct the ambiguities.
