Abschrift[edit]
The filename is Farewell letter of Leopold von Plessen, but the document shows the headline ABSCHRIFT (German for transcript or copy). That means, it is not the original farewell letter. Also this copy is not a certified copy, because it lacks an endorsement or certificate that it is a true copy of the primary document (cf. certified copy). According to German law there are two possible certificates, which would prove the authenticity of this document (cf. Beglaubigung; see also Amtliche Beglaubigungen von Dokumenten und Unterschriften / Official certification of documents and signatures):
- amtliche Beglaubigung durch eine Behörde / official certification by a public authority
- öffentliche Beglaubigung durch einen Notar / public certification by a notary public .
Neither of these certificates is presented here. Therefore the eidesstattliche Erklärung (Statutory declaration, cf. Eidesstattliche Erklärung) in the file description is not sufficient as proof of authenticity as far if I know. --ThT (talk) 13:13, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

- That discussion was about a request for recovery (undeletion) of the file. Neither in that discussion nor the one about the request for deletion a sufficient proof of authenticity was presented.
