This photograph is taken in High Ousegate to the north-east of the High Ousegate Low Ousegate Spurriergate Nessgate junction. The photographer is looking south-west towards the river Ouse. The building on the left was the Yorkshire Bank building now Waterstones. St Michael Spurriergate is just visible on the right.
