Yes, it's true. The photo was taken about a day and a half before the items in the photo were destroyed due to flooding in Hurricane Katrina. The items were found, but I doubt they work. If anyone is interested in them, leave me a message and if I did save them, I'll send them over (I wouldn't mind payment for the shipping and what they might be worth). I haven't been able to find anyone else who owns this stuff, and I recall it cost about $99 for the modem originally (yes, I know!) and another $99 for the two carts (which included cables to connect the modem to the game.com). I never really used it that much, not that I didn't try.

My dialup ISP didn't support it, or couldn't help me log on. Connecting it to my computer at the time required a 9pin to 25pin adapter, and I couldn't use the mouse as I had a serial mouse, no PS/2 or fancy schmancy USB. The modem worked, sure, I'd used it with the computer to test.
