Identification[edit]

This looks more like Infundibulicybe geotropa than Clitocybe/Infundibulicybe gibba, and according to Funga Nordica, the former can be separated because the top of the stem is at least 10 mm in diameter.[1] Given that the stem height in the illustration is at least 6 cm (given in comment), the diameter is certainly at least 10 mm and the mushroom in the picture must be I. geotropa.
