This photo shows Mongold State Park at Detroit Lake. You can see the foundations left from the temporary housing erected during the construction of the Dam completed in 1952. The new winter boat ramp construction is underway at the far end of this photo. The old road used for years as the winter boat ramp is flat and inadequate for most larger deep V style boats.The new ramp will allow for safe launching to low pool for year round use. --John2165 (talk) 14:37, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
