This map cannot be accurate, since it shows the Samanid and Zaydid dynasties existing in 1000 AD. When in reality, both of those states/dynasties no longer existed. The Samanids collapsed in 999 AD and the Zaydids hadn't been there since 928 AD. So, something is seriously wrong if this map is claiming to represent the situation in 1000 AD. --Hibernian (talk) 16:18, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This map represents more Iran in the mid 10th-century rather than in 1000. I suggest that the name of this picture should get changed. --HistoryofIran (talk) 15:15, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
