Well, the problem is that different maps from the web are showing Karelia border differently. Anyway, you are right and it appears that I used incorrect source. I suppose that border in this map from Karelia government web site is correct: http://www.gov.karelia.ru/gov/Maps/adm1_r.gif I will change my map accordingly.
