This skeleton is not a juvenile Masillamys. It is not even a rodent, as one can tell by examining the teeth. Rodents have a diastema (gap) between their incisors and the rest of their teeth, and the incisors are very prominent and elongated. They have these teeth from birth, unlike other mammals which have milk teeth that are eventually replaced. The photographer probably associated the wrong information with the photo when recording which animal it was, given that museums don't always place the information directly beside the specimen.
